Oh not so much here, I guess. Sure, 45 years in the making, and I am beginning to get quite the archive of stories to tell my grandchildren one day. I practice on my kids and friends now. Hopefully I get away without any groans, and instead, garner a laugh or two. That makes me happy. To me the laughter of people is one of God’s greatest gifts, and if I can help create some laughter, I feel that maybe God is using me to help lighten one’s burden, if even for a moment.
My life is really more about music, though. Yes, I am a computer programmer / Web Developer, but if given a chance to walk through Sam Ash or Best Buy and grab whatever I want for keeps, I would always choose Sam Ash (Sam Ash is an awesome music store based in New York. Similar to the Guitar Center. OK, if I had to settle for Guitar Center, I’d be just as happy to shop myself silly.)
Always a song in my head, and a rhythm in my hands (my constant tapping drives my wife to distraction), music is my greatest love in terms of human expression. It’s the way I most enjoy worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ – through music (I play drums and I write lyrics.) I’m also a ‘reluctant ham’, which means that while I love to get up in front of people to play worship, speak or whatever, I internally drive myself batty with feelings of insecurity and nervousness.
Ok, this site is very cool. I must figure out how to ‘borrow’ some of its code. Oh a developer’s life.
Man… I miss you.
Miss you guys too!
